What is the best formula for a newborn with colic?

My baby is 3 weeks old and has colic and I want to know what is the best and maybe the least expensive formula I can give him, I give him gas drop. I don’t know if it is just gas he has or if it actualy a milk protien allergy.
I had to give my son soy formula, and I found that Walmart’s Parent’s Choice Soy with ARA/DHA he liked better than the more expensive ones, and he spit up less with this one too.
